Healthy Relationships Week

Each year during the week of Valentine's Day, Alpha Chi Omega celebrates Healthy Relationships Week. This week is dedicated to raising awareness of domestic violence and educating others on how to engage in relationships that promote physical, mental, and emotional health. We are able to accomplish this through our "Love Is..." campaign and events such as Pizza Pie with Alpha Chi, in which proceeds benefit our local Tallahassee Refuge House.

Love Is...

The "Love Is..." campaign aims to change the conversation that surrounds domestic violence and abusive relationships. This is why Alpha Chi sisters spend time to educate others on what a healthy relationship should look like. By defining our own ideas of what love is, we are able to help others identify healthy aspects of love in their own relationships.

Join us next week at our table during Market Wednesday in the Oglesby Union from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. to share your own idea of what "Love Is"!

Pizza Pie with Alpha Chi

Our annual philanthropy event, Pizza Pie with Alpha Chi, will be held from 5-7 p.m. on Thursday, February 16th at the Alpha Chi Omega sorority house. Buy a pre-sale ticket from a sister for $5 or $7 at the door. Delicious pizza will be served from your favorite Tallahassee pizzerias!

All proceeds will benefit those affected by domestic violence and sexual assault right here in Tallahassee. This money will allow these victims to receive critical resources, such as medical examinations, proper counseling & therapy, emergency shelter, and much more.
